Biodiesel Production - EDG produces various blends of biodiesel from collected waste streams from our existing contracts. It is our goal to reduce the carbon footprint of our organization, produce a federally qualified ASTM biodiesel for motor vehicle fuel, and create an additional market for fuel to promote the efforts of the United States of America to decrease its dependence on foreign oil. Our first facility will be located in Tucson, Arizona. Its name plate capacity will be 1,000,000 - 1,500,000 gallons per year, with the capability to expand capacity up to 3,000,000 gallons, depending upon feedstock acquisitions. It will be our goal to provide a high quality fuel in accordance with federal and state regulations. In the future, EDG will demonstrate a distributive model for biodiesel plants production through strategic locations within the United States of America over the next five years. We are members of the National Biodiesel Board, and the Tucson Clean City Coalition. We are becoming members of the American Society for Testing and Materials and of other relevant industry associations. The EDG biodiesel facility will be BQ-9000 certified for producers and marketers.
