For over a decade, Grant County Excavation, Inc. dba Environmental Development Group (EDG) has been providing outstanding facility maintenance services to our customers. We have developed and established Regional Programs servicing the Western and South Western United States. Our facility maintenance services include:

Landscape and Horticultural - EDG creates curb appeal while effectively offering cost assessment evaluations, managing resources and providing cutting edge solutions to improve the customer's experience. Our services include:

  • Landscape site construction
  • Irrigation system installation, operation, and maintenance
  • Scheduled landscape maintenance and tree trimming
  • Herbicide and Pesticide application
  • Vector and pest control
  • Excess property maintenance

Stormwater and Watershed- At EDG, our mission is to restore and protect watersheds through proper maintenance of water resources, reducing the impacts of non-point sources of pollution on water resources, regulating activities for soil conservation and waterway/wetlands protection. EDG provides:

  • A comprehensive approach and accurate survey of stormwater structures and their condition
  • Maintains an appropriate maintenance frequency and schedule of stormwater structures
  • Stormwater inspections and asset summaries
  • An evaluation of systems and projected maintenance
  • Maintenance of the entire system of above ground basins and filtration systems, including bio-filtration basins, bio-retention basins, landscape swales, wetland swales, including underground water quality structures
  • Sweeping and dry surface cleaning

Plumbing - EDG provides a team of knowledgeable, experienced plumbers and tradesmen to assess your plumbing needs and is equipped for mobilization to any size commercial location. EDG offers:

  • Repair and installation of interior and exterior plumbing systems and fixtures
  • Lift Station maintenance and repairs including pumping and electrical systems

Grease Interceptor/Trap - EDG provides a fleet of vehicles and equipment with experienced crews trained in the maintenance, collection, and handling of grease interceptor/trap wastewater systems. EDG offers:

  • Grease interceptor/trap wastewater collection system inspection and asset summaries
  • Collection and disposal of all wastewater at authorized disposal sites
  • Maintenance of entire system, including preventative maintenance and required cleaning to improve performance
  • Compliance and completion of all required waste disposal manifests for disposal of grease interceptor/trap wastewater
  • Installation of grease interceptor/traps
  • Hydro-jetting of exterior wastewater lines

Paving Division - EDG has a team of dedicated, experienced tradesmen for hard surface installation, repairs, and maintenance. EDG is committed to safety and the highest quality at the lowest total costs. EDG projects includes:

  • New parking lots
  • Private access roads
  • Concrete sidewalks, curb, and gutter installation and replacement
  • Repairs of potholes, crack sealing, and patching
