Enjoy Dining Green Helps the Tucson Community Food Bank at the American Rivalry Series Football Game!

Enjoy Dining Green gives back to the community they call home.

Tucson, Arizona November 7, 2009 – Just in time for the holidays, Enjoy Dining Green donated several hundred pounds of non-perishable items to the Tucson Community Food Bank on Friday, November 6, 2009. Vice President Stacey Sires commented, “It is always nice to give back to our community, especially during these tough times”, as the food was being packed for delivery to Salpointe High School. Enjoy Dining Green presented their donation to Salpointe High School and the Tucson Community Food Bank prior to Friday night’s game Salpointe vs. Sunnyside American Rivalry Series Game football game.

Enjoy Dining Green is a coalition formed by Environmental Development Group (EDG) of concerned and environmentally-conscious businesses and restaurants united to practice ecological sustainable waste recycling in the form of used cooking oil to biodiesel processing.  In 2010, EDG and EDG Fuels will open Tucson’s first Biodiesel facility with the ability to produce at least 1.5 million gallons of Biodiesel fuel per year.
